Nelio France, b. 1982.

Biography

French artist known for his urban works and interventions, composed of colorful and geometric shapes.

Self-taught, Nelio began painting graffiti in the late nineties, developing since then his speech and style, which is characterized by the fusion of symbols, letters, landscapes and geometric figures. His style moves between the representative and the abstract, thus combining endless impressions that result in a collage of different elements.

For Nelio, everything is related in some way, and this is reflected in his work. His paintings are an abstract and minimalist representation of the universe, with an emphasis on technology, nature and humanity.

In addition to the murals, Nelio makes installations combining his elements with everyday materials such as metal and wood. In colors or in black and white, these installations are composed of symbols, primary forms and, sometimes, figurative elements. His works are found in numerous buildings in Europe, Australia and South America.
